Reiki Healing is one of the Energy Healing techniques offered by LymphWorks' Therapist Carol J. McDaniel (CJ) who is a Certified Reiki Master Practitioner (CRMP) and is also a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (HTCP). Reiki is one of the most recognizable terms in natural healing in the western world.
If you desire to address a chronic physical complaint or would like insight and clearing with repeating patterns in your life, we can help. CJ specializes in helping those who haven't received desired results and/or clear diagnosis from conventional medicine or other holistic methods. Medical intuition is one of her gifts.
Although there are three lineages of Reiki 1) Usui, 2) IHReiki, and 3) Komyo Reiki, we use Usui Reiki principles here at LymphWorks.
"Reiki is the Japanese word for universal life force energy and the universal spirit. We are all born with Reiki, for it is the energy of life itself. The Usui system of Reiki is a healing art that reawakens and elevates this energy, channeling it from the universal life force all around us into another person or oneself. Through the hands and through the use of energizing symbols, Reiki is drawn by the recipient not sent by the practitioner. The amount of energy drawn is determined by the needs of the person receiving it, and it will go through any material, including clothes and plaster casts. Personal energy is not drained because Reiki is a universal energy-channeled through and from the collective universal power within by placing our hands on one another or on ourselves, and through the use of a powerful absent healing technique. Reiki is a gift and accessible to all.
To become a Reiki channel one needs a desire to learn, a commitment to use Reiki and a series of attunements, or initiations, given by a Reiki Master." - The Usui System of Natural Healing
Fort Collins Reiki Healing is one of several gentle energy balancing techniques which is performed on a fully clothed client. Unlike traditional or conventional allopathic therapies, Reiki addresses the entire person. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual imbalances or complaints may be be addressed during a healing session. However, Reiki may be used along side conventional or allopathic therapies to enhance a person's entire care.
Placing your body back into it's rightful and natural healing state is the primary goal of this type of therapeutic modality. Other benefits can include reduced anxiety, changing emotional patterns, improved wound healing, better sleep, more balanced hormone levels and reduced stress. Improved digestion and elimination and detoxification of the bodily tissues are other benefits of this type of energy work.

1) Since the technique was brought over from Japan in the 1930's, care has been taken to ensure the lineage of teachings and styles. Every Certified Reiki Practitioner knows what lineage and teachers they have studied under and where the information has come from.
2) Formal Attunements make Reiki unique in that there is a transfer of not just knowledge but ENERGY and symbols from instructor to student during their trainings.
Reiki has a strong emphasis on the use of distance healing, power symbols, and other tools such as crystals to enhance one's healing experience.
4) The Reiki training program is accessible to anyone interested in being a healer or healing themselves. There is no shortage of classes, free newsletters, and information. Please visit Reiki.org for more information!
